Our Portobello rattan lamp shade is a modern revamp of the traditional rattan ceiling shade. Handwoven from eco-friendly rattan fibres, this designer rattan pendant will bring a contemporary, yet natural, vibe to your home.

The stylish, sculptural design of this rattan light shade creates a show stopping feature, whether displayed solo or in groups. The light diffuses beautifully through the natural rattan, casting mesmerising patterns on your walls and ceiling. Prepare to be enchanted!

Easy fit design - as with all our light shades, our rattan shades can be fitted to any standard British (B22) or European (E27) ceiling fitting. If you have the larger E27 fitting, you just need to remove the inner shade reducer ring provided.

X-Large: W80cm x H45cm, Weight 2.4kg

Free Next Day delivery on the Standard and Large lamp shades (if ordered before 10am Monday - Thursday). The X-Large version dispatches on a special outsize delivery, that takes up to 48 hours.

Our rattan lights shades are suitable for outdoors in the summer months (with the appropriate electrics). However prolonged exposure to cold and moisture may cause degradation or mould to develop, so it's best to keep them sheltered.
This rattan lamp shade is also suitable for both Ceiling and/or Lamp fittings.

Beautiful and unique statement piece

I went for the XL 80cm lampshade for the main pendant light in my dining room, handing over the dining table, and it is every bit as stunning and unique as it promised to be. I was trying to decide between this and the 60cm version, but am so glad I went with this 80cm. Note that the weight in the description (4.5kg) is wrong - I weighed it at under 2.4kg (possibly someone mixed up lbs and kgs) but even better as almost certainly any ol' pendant light will hold it up easily.

So much more than a light shade

I absolutely love my portobello light shade, it has transformed my sons bedroom, the atmosphere in the room has totally changed. It is so much more than a light shade it’s a sculpture that changes from different angles
