My Wife and I are truly pleased with 'Our' purchase' of the lamp. Some thing a little different now standing in the corner of the dinning room. We were however a bit worried when we first opened the box and found a lot of the white fiberglass of the "shade" laying in the bottom of the packing. The bottom of the shade was very ragged. There was also a lot of the shade matterial stuck to the bottom of the lamp holder. Any way, after trimming the bottom of the shade and cleaning the lamp holder every thing seemed to fit together quite nicely. I have wired the bottom of the lamp holder to the little feet to keep it steady. it would not stay in place when the lamp was moved otherwise, The shade is also kept in place by this application so all is now well. BUT It would have been a better experience if the lamp had come ready for use and finished in a proper fashion. We will probably now think twice before we purchase from you again - to save the bother of first figuring out how to fix it and secondly to have to clean up the mess on the carpet in the dinning room from the white fibre glass. So be pleased we are pleased but have more care for your customers as some may not be as tolerant or adept as I. David [and wife] T. Watts.
